Do you use historical fiction text in your curriculum? Are you looking to more deeply engage your learners and help them better comprehend this genre? If so, this session could be helpful for you! Using a number of various media outlets and engaging instructional practices, presenters will model an already developed historical fiction unit that is centered around front-loading historical content. Attendees will leave this conference with a number of instructional strategies that will help their students achieve higher levels of reading comprehension, in addition to higher levels of student engagement.
